About Dúo Violeta, Piano 4 hands

Dúo Violeta is a musical project founded in 2023 by Chilean pianists Natalia Álvarez and Matilde Méndez, dedicated to the four-hand interpretation of a repertoire that interlaces Chilean and Latin American music with compositions of European tradition. The mainfocus of this project is the dissemination of the musical heritage of Latin America and the exploration of new aesthetic connections between cultures and epochs.
