About dissident

I am a liberal socialist who is opposed to the rightwing, authoritarian Westminster government and to the archaic, undemocratic political system by which it was handed power. I live in Scotland and support the campaign for Scottish independence. I am a pacifist, supporting the right to peaceful protest. Nuclear weapons are not a deterrent; they are the gateway to annihilation.
