I’m Gerard, retired chartered surveyor, from the Glasgow area, now in Aberdeen. Was Labour (Glw Uni Labour club), now SNP member, ever optimistic. Guardian reader since 1976. Dad, grandad. Ex-cyclist. A men’s shed member at Insch, rural Aberdeenshire. Bookcrosser again.
