About Ron Baxter

I am a medieval art historian who specialises in stone sculpture - mainly Romanesque. I am the Research Director of the Corpus of Romanesque Sculpture in Britain and Ireland, and a member of the Fabric Advisory Committee of Peterborough Cathedral. Publications include Bestiaries and their Users in the Middle Ages, and The Royal Abbey of Reading.
