About Nicole Johänntgen

Nicole Johänntgen is a jazz saxophonist, composer. She studied saxophone, composition and arranging in Mannheim at the State University of Music and Performing Arts. Nicole Johänntgen tours all over the world and has received several international awards. In 2013, she founded the “SOFIA Support of Female Improvising Artists” program in Switzerland. SOFIA supports women in jazz in the areas of networking, music and the music business. The “Kids Jazz Club” also supports the younger generation.
